Mountain Bike National Championship Marathon July 12,
Hollins University, Carvins Cove
We will have 6 volunteers at 3 stations to keep track of the racers and help at the race.

Field Day June 27-28, 2026
We logged 94 contacts. Fun was had by all and the field day was a success.

Treasurers report
Portapotty was rented for field day.
Domain registration is due

Hamfest:
Gold Metal Ideas will not be coming. Is there any other embroidery company that might be available. Also, any other venders to consider to set up.  There will be a flea market.  Tables are available to rent.

New Business:

1. Consider purchasing a DX Commander multiband antenna for the club. We used one at field day, and it was fantastic.
2. The planned program presenter for the July program meeting is unable to come. We will check with Tom Wilcox to see if he can present an introduction to Winlink. Consider also then following this with a workshop in August for those interested in working Winlink.
3. Blue Ridge Bonanza has been scheduled with ARRL for September 13.
