1/19/2019 – SET (Simulated Emergency Test)

There will be a SET (Simulated Emergency Test) held on Saturday, January 19th of 2019 from 8:00 am until 1400 hours local time . This exercise will be open to any agency or hams that are interested in emergency communications. This will be a simulation of two major storm systems that will combine over central Virginia and will affect the total commonwealth with the loss of power, Internet and phone service. There will also be problems with mass flooding throughout the state. This exercise will involve both disaster response and SKYWARN activities.
